COA at 122: "Resilience and Innovation in the New Normal"

To mark the 122nd founding anniversary of the Commission on Audit (COA), Regional Office No. IX held a week-long celebration consisting of various fun-filled and meaningful activities last May 2021.With the theme "Resilience and Innovation in the New Normal", COA faces a brave new normal utilizing online technology in government Audit to attain speed, efficiency, and sustainability amidst pandemic, while maintaining a safe workplace.

The celebration kicked off with virtual religious services. This was thereafter followed by the broadcast of Central Office opening program on the COA IX official Facebook Page. Regional Director Visitacion Q. Mendoza formally opened the virtual celebration in the regional office via inspirational message. Virtual Fundemic Games, Urban Gardening, Inter Regional Tiktok Contest and Mobile Legends Tournament were among the highlights of celebration.

Concluding the week-long event is the virtual closing program and awarding ceremony held on May 07, 2021, with 300 COA IX Personnel in attendance.

The Commission on Audit will continue to find means to adapt and make its way through innovations that will maintain excellence in all its services. Resilience in gthe face of adversity, innovation in the face of new challenges. GO COA!!!
